Chapters 9 + 10: Acrostic

Receive answers to any questions
Excepted dream-telling
Conceals the experiences from the others into secret
Even the Elders don’t have the knowledge about the past
Is allowed to lie
Volunteer hours gave no hint for what Jonas assignment would be
Experience of things nobody else would get
Respected by everybody

Old Receiver is tired of his work     
Forbidden to talk about the process to become a Receiver

Transmits all memories of the past to his successor
Hard and painful work
Every member in the community can’t imagine the meaning of common words

Most honored job
Everything will be explained
Memories of the whole world
Opportunities to experience things which no one else knows
Role of the Receiver in the community is very important
Yellow – one color which nobody knows

  1. There are so many ideas in your acrostic that you took from chapters 9 and 10. I really like that you include Jonas position but also give information on general ideas of the Receiver of the Memory, like the history of how he was selected. I think it's strange though that there's only one person in a community that holds all the memories. Life would be boring without all the memories, wouldn't it?

  2. can you post another acrostic of the "receiver of memory" but this time with just 1 centural idea in it , like about the jobs, traditions , Jonas himself, rules..... JUST ONE TOPIC ! thanks
